This is where it starts, right? I started crocheting when I was about seven or eight just making looooooong lengths of chains (the very beginning part that starts your piece) I didn't know how to do anything else so I just made chains as long as I could pretending i could make a scarf that you would have to wrap around 100 times to be effective. I've come quite a way from those "chain" scarves in the last 28 or so years and love sharing my craft with anyone!
